Job summary

The Launch Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of data centre structures across Europe. You will develop and review structural concepts through to construction, collaborating with architectural, civil, MEP and client teams on technically demanding projects.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of structural experience, a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, and strong knowledge of Eurocodes, modelling software and buildability considerations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and structural design principles.
• Experience producing structural calculations and technical documentation.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction methods and buildability.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet project programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for data centre buildings and infrastructure.
• Produce and review structural calculations, drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, MEP and other disciplines.
• Support meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with Eurocodes and project standards.
• Undertake site inspections and provide construction support.
• Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments and value engineering.
