Job summary

The EURO 2028 Stadium Project Manager at The Scottish Football Association Ltd will lead planning, coordination and delivery of stadium projects for UEFA EURO 2028 at Hampden, reporting to the Head of Stadium. You will drive multi-workstream activity and ensure UEFA requirements and deadlines are met.

You will maintain governance, develop schedules, risk registers, budget monitoring and coordinate cross-functional teams with internal and external partners to keep milestones on track.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestone trackers and risk registers.
• Establish governance, reporting routines and controls to support delivery.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external partners and stadium stakeholders to align priorities and deadlines.
• Act as day-to-day coordinator for the Head of Stadium, keeping actions and information aligned.
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies with mitigation plans.
• Monitor budgets and support procurement and financial reporting.

Description

The EURO 2028 Stadium Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of the Scottish FA's stadium obligations for UEFA EURO 2028. Working closely with the Head of Stadium and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, the post-holder will drive progress across multiple workstreams, ensuring activity, actions, decisions and deadlines remain on track. The role will provide proactive project management support, maintain effective governance and reporting arrangements, support technical project infrastructure, update relevant UEFA systems and help ensure all stadium-related projects are planned and delivered in line with UEFA requirements, organisational objectives and tournament deadlines.

The proposed interview dates for this position are the 9th & 10th November.

For internal purposes This position is available as a secondment subject to permission from line manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and implementation of assigned UEFA EURO 2028 stadium projects and workstreams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestone trackers, action logs and risk registers.
• Establish effective project governance, reporting routines and controls to support successful delivery.
• Work across internal departments, external partners and stadium stakeholder groups to coordinate activity, progress actions and ensure decisions, dependencies and deadlines are followed through.
• Act as a key point of day-to-day coordination for the Head of Stadium, helping to keep priorities, actions, people and project information aligned and on-track.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
• Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans where required.
• Monitor project budgets and support procurement, contract management and financial reporting processes.
