Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Band 6 SCM Practitioner within the Preston West CMHT to deliver Structured Clinical Management for service users with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder in the community. You will work under clinical supervision and collaborate with wider services to provide evidence-based care.

The role involves leading groups, assessing risks, and ensuring high standards of care while supporting service users to recover and develop

Qualifications

• Recognised Core Mental Health Professional Qualification (e.g. RMN, SW, OT).
• In-depth knowledge of mental health problems.
• Knowledge around a variety of personality presentations.
• Post qualification experience of clinical work and assessment with service users experiencing a range of mental health problems.
• Experience of working with people who have a diagnosis of personality disorder.
• Experience of risk assessment and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide SCM for a CMHT caseload with supervision from the PDMCN.
• Lead groups to support recovery for service users with EUPD.
• Engage with wider services (GPs, IAPT, secondary MH) to ensure evidence-based care.
• Undertake mental health assessments and manage risk appropriately.
