Job summary

ESP Global Services is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer for on-site work at London Gatwick Airport. The role offers a £30,000 gross annual salary on a 24-month fixed-term contract with potential for renewal.

You’ll work 5 days on, 2 days off, with 07:00–19:00 rotational shifts, delivering hands-on EUC and workplace technology support within a dynamic airport environment. You’ll handle desk-side incidents, device troubleshooting, access management and quick restoration of services for employees

Qualifications

3+ years' hands-on experience in Desktop Support or on-site IT support
Strong troubleshooting across Windows OS and Microsoft 365
Experience with desktops, laptops, peripherals and mobile devices
Experience with Active Directory
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP and wireless networking

Responsibilities

Diagnosing and resolving desktop, laptop, peripheral and workplace technology issues
Providing hands-on desk-side support to users across the airport's corporate environment
Troubleshooting Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications and common enterprise software
Supporting mobile devices across iOS and Android
Installing, replacing, configuring and maintaining end-user devices and peripherals
Providing basic hands-on support for network and infrastructure teams where needed
Escalating complex incidents while owning the user experience
