Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Staff Talent Sourcer to design data-driven, EU-wide sourcing strategies for engineering, software, AI and other critical domains. You will partner with recruiters and leaders to map markets, identify hidden talent pools, and build scalable pipelines using advanced search tools and AI-driven workflows.

You will apply expertise across multiple disciplines, leverage cutting-edge AI tooling, and drive impact through repeatable sourcing systems and stakeholder collaboration

Qualifications

• 8+ years of sourcing experience across EU markets.
• Proven market mapping and candidate generation for highly specialized, difficult-to-fill roles.
• Experience sourcing across Engineering, Software, AI/ML, Hardware, Manufacturing, Operations, Product, PM, G&A, and other functions.
• Deep expertise in advanced Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, SeekOut, GitHub, and other modern sourcing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of the EU talent landscape, including regional hubs and market dynamics.
• Ability to operate as a consultative partner to recruiters, hiring managers, and leaders.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered sourcing workflows, agentic AI tools, and automation.
• Experience using AI development environments (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Copilot, ChatGPT) to build repeatable workflows.
• Experience building long-term relationships with passive, niche talent across markets.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to engage diverse candidates and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own top-of-funnel sourcing by partnering with recruiters to define target profiles across EU.
• Map EU markets by company, function, geography, seniority, and structure for strategic hiring.
• Generate and engage candidates using advanced Boolean search and multiple platforms.
• Proactively build pipelines with passive, niche talent across EU for critical roles.
• Navigate diverse markets, adapting to local dynamics, languages, mobility, and regulations.
• Leverage AI to scale sourcing workflows, research agents, and automation to boost productivity.
• Create reusable sourcing systems: market maps, reports, outreach content, and documentation.
• Provide sourcing SME guidance to recruiters and hiring managers across regions.
