Role Purpose
Lead NTT Data’s European ecosystem partnership strategy and integration initiatives to strengthen EU content contribution in AI Factory opportunities. This role is essential for achieving EuroHPC qualification and driving success across the broader European market.
The EU Integration Lead - AI is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for the implementation of the solution design, configuration and escalated problem management of solutions and services in client environments.
This role provides pre-sales support by identifying opportunities and contributing to the design and configuration requirements related to client proposals and assists with the creation and delivery of more complex technical solutions to clients by engaging with them during the planning and solution definition phase and defining the standards of work (SoW).
Key Characteristics & Competencies
Technical Understanding
HPC/AI Infrastructure Knowledge: Understands technology stack components (processors, interconnects, storage, software) sufficiently to identify integration opportunities
EU Technology Landscape Expertise: Deep knowledge of European technology providers across hardware, software, and services
Compliance & Certification Acumen: Familiar with EU procurement rules, GDPR, EU data sovereignty requirements, and certification frameworks
Relationship Building
Multi-Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage complex relationships across startups, SMEs, research institutions, and large vendors simultaneously
Cultural Navigation: Experience working across European markets with understanding of regional business practices and regulatory nuances
Partnership Structuring: Skilled in negotiating win-win commercial models (revenue sharing, IP licensing, joint development)
Strategic & Analytical
Baseline Assessment Capability: Experience conducting technology/partnership audits across large organizations
EU Content Calculation: Ability to track and document EU value contribution across complex supply chains
Risk Management: Identifies partnership risks (IP, competitive conflicts, delivery capability) and develops mitigation strategies
Core Responsibilities
Experience Requirements
8-10 years in technology partnerships, business development, or ecosystem management
Track record of building partner networks in European markets
Experience with public sector procurement, ideally EuroHPC or Horizon Europe programs
Previous work with research institutions and startup ecosystems
Educational Background
Master's degree in Business, Technology, or European Studies preferred
EU procurement certifications valuable
Language skills: English fluent, plus 1-2 European languages (French, German, Italian priority)
Advanced experience in a similar role within a related global technology services environment.
Advanced experience working across multiple technology domains.
Advanced project management experience.
Advanced experience working with clients to understand their requirements and define appropriate solutions.
