Job summary

Technical Futures Ltd. seeks a Compliance Engineer to ensure EU directives and regulations are met, producing detailed compliance documentation for products sold within Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience writing technical reports.
• An understanding of CE marking.
• Knowledge of a range of EU Regulations, Standards and Directives.
• Ideally to have a background within an electronic manufacturing company.
• Internal Auditor experience highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor EU directives and regulations such as EMC, ATEX, RoHS, LVD and REACH — noting updates and changes as well as EU Official Journal and UK Government websites.
• As part of a larger team you will ensure all legislative requirements are met and produce and amend documentation accordingly.
• Respond to technical queries and undertake training to become an internal auditor.
