Job Description:

The Client Service Manager is an intermediate level position providing an opportunity to be part of the Futures Derivatives Client (FDC) franchise, managing a portfolio of high-profile global clients across ETD (Exchange-Traded Derivatives) / OTC (Over-the-Counter derivatives) cleared, covering the complete trade lifecycle, cash and collateral, fees & communications, and FX (foreign exchange) management, along with regular reviews of client flow. Ensure all queries are acknowledged, investigated, and resolved within expected timeframes in line with Citi policies. Provide analysis and root cause analysis for client issues, chair internal meetings across operations, technology, and business units to resolve and prevent re-occurrence of issues. Be a thought leader and drive cross-departmental and client initiatives. Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, adhering to policies, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues transparently.

What you will do:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across both Platinum and Non-platinum FDC client base.
  • Manage the complete ETD/OTC Cleared lifecycle, including trade, cash, collateral, expiry management, and fees & communications.
  • Ensure all queries are acknowledged, investigated, and resolved within the expected timeframes in line with Citi standards.
  • Provide analysis and root cause analysis for client issues, chair internal meetings across operations, technology, and business to resolve and prevent issues re-occurring.
  • In partnership with Sales, Relationship Sales, understand the front-to-back needs of clients to provide an optimal client experience while minimizing operational risk.
  • Provide clients with clear updates related to market events, delays, or technology issues. Perform monthly MIS to review client performance internally and with clients, and lead meetings to grow relationships.
  • Participate in documentation of business requirements, testing of new processes, systems rollouts, and UAT testing for strategic and regulatory initiatives.
  • Understand the product (ETD/OTC) and regulatory environment impacting the client portfolio, along with group procedures and Citi policies.
  • Be a thought leader and drive cross-departmental and client initiatives.

What we require from you:

  • Prior relevant product experience (ETD/OTC Cleared) required.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred background in client relationship management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
