The Client Service Manager is an intermediate level position that offers an opportunity to be part of the Futures Derivatives Client (FDC) franchise. The role involves managing a portfolio of high-profile global clients across ETD (Exchange-Traded Derivatives) and OTC (Over-the-Counter derivatives), covering the complete trade lifecycle, including cash, collateral, fees & commissions, and FX (foreign exchange) management. Regular reviews across client flow are essential.

Responsibilities include ensuring all queries are acknowledged, investigated, and resolved within expected timeframes in line with Citi policies. The role also involves providing analysis and root cause identification for client issues, chairing internal meetings across operations, technology, and the business to resolve and prevent recurring issues. You will be expected to be a thought leader, driving cross-departmental initiatives and client initiatives, while appropriately assessing risks and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

What you will do:

  1. Manage a portfolio of clients across Platinum and Non-Platinum FDC client base.
  2. Manage the complete ETD/OTC Cleared lifecycle, including trade, cash, collateral, expiry management, and fees & communications.
  3. Ensure all queries are acknowledged, investigated, and resolved within the expected timeframes according to Citi standards.
  4. Provide analysis and root cause for client issues, chair internal meetings to resolve and prevent recurring problems.
  5. Collaborate with Sales to understand client needs and provide an optimal client experience while minimizing operational risk.
  6. Provide clients with clear updates regarding market events, delays, or technology issues. Perform monthly MIS to review client performance and prepare for meetings, leading discussions to grow relationships.
  7. Participate in documenting business requirements, testing new processes, system rollouts, and UAT for strategic and regulatory initiatives.
  8. Understand the product (ETD/OTC) and regulatory environment impacting the client portfolio, along with group procedures and Citi policies.
  9. Drive cross-departmental and client initiatives as a thought leader.

What we require from you:

  • Relevant prior product experience in ETD/OTC Cleared products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Background in client relationship management is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
