Job summary

Bank of America in Chester is seeking an EMEA ETD Operations - Markets Support Analyst (Officer) to join the Reconciliations team. The role involves supporting clearing, deliveries and regulatory reporting across futures, options and cleared OTC products with exposure to a global exchange network.

• Knowledge of FIS GMI and related clearing platforms.
• Experience using exchange or CCP portals and GUIs.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting, operational controls or governance activities.
• Understanding of Client Asset / Client Money regulations (CASS).

Responsibilities

• Reconciliations – Perform and review reconciliations between Bank systems and CCPs. Investigate position, cash and trade discrepancies. Maintain a strong focus on operational risk management and control effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Management – Partner effectively with Front Office, Middle Office, Technology, Finance, Risk and Compliance teams. Engage with exchanges, CCPs and vendors where required. Communicate clearly and professionally when managing operational issues and escalations.
• Change & Continuous Improvement – Participate in technology deployments, testing activities and business change initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and increase automation.
• Support the implementation of new regulatory, industry and exchange requirements.
