Job summary

NE&C Windows and Doors is seeking an experienced Estimator to support commercial projects from its Washington factory. You will review plans, perform take-offs and prepare accurate tenders while liaising with clients and suppliers.

The role covers windows, doors and curtain walling built with aluminium, using Logikal and in-house pricing schedules; strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience required.
• Ability to review building plans and take-offs and prepare tenders.

Responsibilities

• Review Plans and Specifications: Assess building plans, specifications and tender information
• Measure and Quantify Take-Offs across multiple projects
• Prepare Tenders and Quotations with supporting documents
• Produce Accurate Costings for submissions
• Check Specification Compliance for quotations
• Use Estimating Systems including Logikal and in-house pricing schedules
• Liaise with Clients and Suppliers for tenders and variations
• Coordinate with the team to meet quotas and deadlines
• Build client relationships throughout the estimating process
• Follow up estimates and negotiate to secure orders
