Job summary

Linear Recruitment is seeking an Estimator for civil engineering and water infrastructure projects, offering Hybrid/Flexible work arrangements across major UK infrastructure frameworks. You will prepare cost estimates, review tender docs, Bills of Quantities, and collaborate with bid, planning and procurement teams to support client negotiations and handovers to delivery teams.

Qualifications

Experience estimating civil engineering projects, preferably in water or utilities.
Ability to develop robust pricing from drawings, BOQs and tender docs.
Strong collaboration with bid, planning and procurement teams.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil/water projects.
Review tender documents, drawings and Bills of Quantities.
Collaborate with bid, planning and procurement to identify risks and opportunities.
Present estimates at tender adjudications and support client negotiations.
Provide detailed handovers to delivery teams after award.
