Job summary

Stonbury in Waterlooville is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Commercial team. You will receive, manage, and submit tenders and quotations, using NEC contracts pricing and first principles where needed.

We value strong communication and IT skills, particularly MS Excel, and offer up to £65k with a company car or £6k car allowance, plus pension, life assurance, income protection and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, construction related discipline or significant work experience.
• Experience pricing works to NEC contracts.
• Experience pricing from first principles.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and clients.
• Strong IT skills, especially MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive enquiries and tenders for works through framework contracts.
• Coordinate and manage the tender process with start‑up meetings and resource allocation.
• Obtain prices for surveys or investigations and develop project scope.
• Produce prices in line with contract and framework rates.
• Create cost budgets for quotations to forecast gross margins.
