Job summary

CR Smith in Dunfermline is seeking an engaged Estimator to join the expanding Commercial Team, handling a varied portfolio of tenders across New Build, Social Housing and Commercial projects. You will gain exposure to tendering, sales support and pre-contract mobilisation, with progression opportunities as skills develop within a trusted, established brand.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will price products and services, review specs, work with the supply chain, and prepare competitive

Qualifications

• Experience in Estimating, Procurement, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive tenders for New Build, Social Housing and Commercial projects.
• Review specifications and contract requirements to develop compliant solutions.
• Price products, building works and services using estimating methods.
• Collaborate with supply chain to secure accurate, competitive costings.
• Complete tender submissions and pre-start information for manufacturing and operations.
• Analyse tender feedback and help improve estimating systems and processes.
