Job summary

Proman is seeking a junior Estimator for an office / site-based role with a specialist aluminium contractor. You will assist with estimates for aluminium glazing and façade packages, review drawings, carry out take-offs, and support pricing and quotations.

The role requires prior experience in aluminium glazing or fenestration and familiarity with estimating software such as LogiKal, Technal or ReynaPro. A solid numerical ability and attention to detail are essential, with room to develop within

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating within aluminium glazing, windows or curtain walling.
• Ability to read drawings or willingness to develop further in this area.
• Experience using estimating software LogiKal, Technal or ReynaPro.

Responsibilities

Estimator Warrington £30,000 per annum Permanent Office / site-based role

Winsearch UK is proud to partner with a specialist architectural aluminium contractor, who is looking to add an Estimator to their commercial team.

My client works across aluminium glazing and façade packages, including curtain walling, windows, doors, shop fronts and wider commercial glazing systems. They operate across design, manufacture and installation, supporting projects from early enquiry through to delivery.

The role

This is a junior-level Estimator role, but it is not entry level.

My client needs someone who already has some experience within structural aluminium. Additional experience with glazing, fenestration, curtain walling, windows and doors, or a similar construction-related environment would also be beneficial.

The key requirement is software experience. Applicants must have experience using at least one of the following

• LogiKal
• Technal
• ReynaPro

The role will be based fully from the office / site as required, so this will not suit someone looking for remote or hybrid working.

The type of person who'll do well

This would suit someone who is still relatively early in their career, but already has enough industry knowledge to understand aluminium systems and estimating software.

You might currently be working as an Estimator, Junior Estimator, Order Processor, Technical Assistant, Design Assistant or similar within an aluminium glazing or fenestration business.

My client is not looking for the finished article, but they do need someone who can bring relevant software experience and a solid understanding of the sector.
