Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is assisting in recruiting an experienced Estimator for a specialist roofing contractor based near Waltham Abbey. The role focuses on pre-construction tendering, take-offs from drawings, value engineering, and cost control across projects from £200k to £4M+.

Excellent Excel and Bluebeam skills are essential, with 5+ years of estimating in flat roofing preferred. You will join a growing team, with office-based hours 8am–5pm, and travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience in flat roofing systems preferred
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for take-offs
• Experience in producing client bills of quantities and pricing documents

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender submissions from construction drawings
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs using Bluebeam or equivalent
• Calculate project rates including labour, materials and preliminaries
• Prepare scope-marked drawings and pricing documents
• Attend project handover meetings with design and management teams
• Maintain detailed records of tender submissions, RFIs and queries
• Support with technical submittals and data collection for awarded projects
