Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Estimator – Roofing to lead cost estimation and tender submissions for commercial and industrial roofing refurbishment projects in the UK. You will conduct take-offs, prepare detailed estimates, and review subcontractor quotations to support secure contracts.

Ideal candidates will have extensive roofing estimating experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of pricing complex construction projects.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience as an Estimator within pitched or flat roofing.
• Experience on large scale industrial and commercial projects.
• Proven experience pricing construction projects and preparing tender submissions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimator position promoting a range of commercial/industrial roofing refurbishment projects.
• Conduct take-offs to support accurate project assessments.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing.
• Assist with obtaining and reviewing subcontractor quotations and supplier costs.
• Support contract review meetings with the Contracts Department for secured projects.
• Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high accuracy, organisation, and quality standards.
