Job summary

HR GO Group is seeking an Estimator in Winsford to turn architectural drawings into accurate project estimates and support residential development costings. You will review drawings, measure materials and prepare costed plans to keep projects on budget.

Working with customers and installation teams, you will produce material schedules, calculate costs and seek efficiency improvements while maintaining clear documentation and up-to-date records.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings and measurements to calculate material requirements and produce estimates.
• Prepare cutting plans and material schedules to support ordering and installation teams.
• Calculate project costs in line with customer specifications and pricing structures.
• Identify opportunities to reduce material waste and improve cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate project details, cost breakdowns and records on internal systems.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and resolve queries.
• Carry out site visits and measurements when required to verify dimensions.
• Produce clear documentation to coordinate materials, orders and installation work.
• Work with the wider team to keep projects organized and running smoothly.
• Experience with estimating or planning software would be beneficial, although training on specific systems may be available.
