Job summary

The Selection Partnership Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Estimator/QS for shopfitting and fit-out projects. You will manage tenders, quantify costs, and support pre/post contract activities across projects, ensuring competitive bids and profitable outcomes.

The role requires proven estimating experience in shopfitting/fit-out, strong numerical skills, and excellent communication to influence decisions at all levels. On-site role with UK-based client base.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience in shopfitting / fit-out.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to communicate at all levels and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Report back to Directors on estimating / QS function in an agreed format.
• Develop accounts with existing and new clients in liaison with Directors.
• Analyse job appraisals to determine accuracy of estimating standards and variances.
• Maintain relationships with contracts team, site agents and subcontractors.
• Manage the QS function, post and pre-contract support.
• Monitor project costs from pre-contract to final account.
• Review contract law and assess risk on framework agreements and docs.
