Job summary

Energy Jobline is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team in the United Kingdom. You will review customer enquiries, specifications and drawings to prepare accurate, competitive quotations and ensure solutions are practical and deliverable.

Working closely with Sales, Technical, Production Control and Manufacturing, you’ll manage revisions and keep records up to date while developing strong product knowledge and estimating processes. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing estimates, quotations or tenders.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations from enquiries, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Review project information for missing, unclear or conflicting requirements.
• Clarify scope, assumptions, exclusions and technical requirements with customers and internal teams.
• Manage quotation revisions and ensure responses are delivered on time.
• Maintain quotation records, systems and status updates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical, Production Control and Manufacturing to ensure viable solutions.
• Develop knowledge of products, applications and estimating processes.
• Support Regional Sales Managers with pricing, revisions and queries.
• Attend internal, customer and online meetings as required.
• Keep Estimating Manager updated on workload and priorities.
• Contribute to process improvements and wider team objectives.
