Job summary

Reed is seeking an Estimator in Oldham for full-time work. You will own the pre-construction tender process from documents to award, generating quantities with Conquest and coordinating with design, procurement, and HS&E teams.

Responsibilities include tender review, site visits, programming collaboration, and presenting estimates to the Build Team. You will ensure timely replies and support through construction, handover, and post-project stages.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in construction.
• Strong understanding of tender processes and pre-construction management.
• Proficiency in Conquest or similar BOQ software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents and arrange launch meetings.
• Produce bills of quantities and engage with supply chain.
• Undertake site visits to assess constraints and logistics.
• Collaborate with Contracts Manager on programming and design solutions.
• Work with Procurement on material products and HS&E elements.
• Produce a detailed and compliant tender for submission.
• Prepare and present the estimate to the Build Team with supporting docs.
• Provide timely responses to questions from build team and external parties.
• Support the build team through construction and during handover/defects.
• Promote business development and manage engagements with the Conquest team.
