Walker & Sloan Ltd | Certified B Corp are seeking an ambitious Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. You’ll develop accurate cost estimates, manage tender processes, and work closely with senior estimating professionals, commercial teams and design colleagues.

This role offers exposure to high-profile projects, opportunity to progress into Senior Estimator, and a supportive environment in a respected main contractor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in estimating, tendering or QS related roles.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Engineering.
• Experience preparing estimates, reviewing tender docs or managing subcontractor enquiries.
• Strong numerical ability with commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepare estimates and competitive tenders across a varied portfolio.
• Coordinate subcontractor quotations and supplier enquiries.
• Analyze project costs and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Identify risks and opportunities for value engineering with design teams.
• Support handover of completed projects to delivery teams.
