Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Estimator (Manufacturing) in Mansfield to join a growing steel and aluminium fabrication business. You will prepare estimates for architectural metalwork, sheet metal fabrication and structural steelwork, interpreting drawings and calculating material and labour costs.

The role involves reviewing enquiries, obtaining supplier quotations and conducting site surveys. There is clear progression into senior roles, with training offered and on-site parking

Are you an Estimator, with experience in the metalwork industry, looking to join a growing manufacturing company with exciting progression opportunities?

On offer is the opportunity to join a recently established, yet inherently stable, steel and aluminium fabrication company. Due to rapid expansion, the company is looking for an Estimator to take ownership of a diverse range of projects across architectural metalwork, events and staging, security, and industrial infrastructure.

You will be responsible for preparing estimates through a Statii ERP system. The process will include interpreting technical drawings, calculating material and labour costs, and obtaining supplier quotations.

There is potential for growth within the company, with the opportunity to move into a Director level position. This will diversify your responsibilities into different avenues, including procurement and sales.

The suitable candidate will have experience as an Estimator within a metalwork function. Training can be provided on specific software.

The Role
