As an Estimator, you’ll be involved in exciting projects—contributing to our success and sustainability goals.

Your new role

What you’ll do:

• Review invitation to tender (ITT) documents and specifications to understand client requirements.
• Assess the scope for hard services (M&E, fabric maintenance), soft services (cleaning, security, catering), or total FM (integrated).
• Collaborate with bid teams and senior management to develop effective strategies.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on subcontractor quotes and self-delivery rates.
• Factor in lifecycle costing, potential savings, staffing models, and risk contingencies.
• Analyse subcontractor and supplier quotes for specialist services.
• Ensure quotes meet tender requirements and offer value for money.
• Define and cost labour requirements, shift patterns, and productivity rates.
• Work with operational teams to validate assumptions and delivery models.
• Ensure tenders comply with legal, health and safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify and quantify risks such as inflation, TUPE, and payment issues.
• Collaborate with bid managers and technical experts to align pricing with submissions.
• Participate in bid reviews, pricing validations, and governance processes.
• Use data and industry benchmarks to inform pricing strategies.
• Support bid presentations, attend client meetings, and respond to clarification requests.

What you’ll need:

• Degree in Facilities Management or related discipline preferred, or 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the Facilities Management sector.
• Customer-focused attitude, internal and external.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to senior management.
• Strong understanding of SFG20 standards.
