Job Description

We are a professional and quality-driven environmental contractor providing environmental services nationwide, seeking a well-established, dynamic professional to join our Estimating Team.

Primary Duties & Expectations:

1. Provide accurate, comprehensive, and competitive proposals for complex remediation projects, civil projects, field services, and industrial services, including scope, cost, and schedule.
2. Prepare and submit construction reports such as work plans, submittals, and health & safety plans.
3. Assemble quality and professional bid packages.
4. Read construction and civil drawings and perform quality estimating take-offs, utilizing industry-recognized programs to determine volumes.
5. Calculate final quantities such as earthwork, backfill, tank volumes, schedules, and trench/pipe lengths.
6. Attend bid and site walks.
7. Interpret technical bid documents and understand contract details.
8. Assess the financial impact related to profit & loss, margins, and budgets.
9. Have a strong working knowledge of environmental cleanup practices, excavation, construction activities, and facility closures, including UST/AST removal and decommissioning.
10. Be familiar with regulatory and health & safety compliance, including OSHA, DOT, DEP, and EPA regulations.
11. Manage interactions with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, including negotiating pricing.
12. Possess competent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Project for building construction schedules.
13. Maintain strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
