Electrical Estimator

Our client, a leading M&E contractor operating across the country, is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team based in Sheffield.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of estimating experience with a strong electrical/M&E background and will hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all applications are submitted in line with contractual terms.
• Ensure sub-contractor payments are made on time.
• Oversee the commercial team.
• Complete client valuations.
• Monitor all applications submitted and track any rejected works for reissue when appropriate.
• Price all jobs according to their revenue code to ensure correct billing.
• Produce and agree on a monthly application.
• Monitor and manage costs to ensure profitability.

Requirements:

• Electrical/M&E experience.
• Experience in surveying, pricing, and validating subcontractor quotations.
• Experience measuring works, generating, and agreeing on applications.
• Negotiation skills.
