We are a recruitment agency working on behalf of a leading independent Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contractor. Our client specialises in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across various sectors, including education, healthcare, commercial, and residential projects. Your new role
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects. You will ensure that all bids are submitted on time and in compliance with client requirements. Key responsibilities include analysing project specifications, collaborating with project managers and engineers, identifying cost factors, preparing detailed cost breakdowns, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or MEP industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, excellent analytical and mathematical skills, proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, and strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
