We are seeking a Building Estimator to join our team based out of Lympne, Kent.

The role includes:

1. Analyzing tender documentation and capturing client requirements.
2. Producing an accurate BOQ for pricing, reflecting client requirements, with knowledge of CESSM 3, Highways Method of Measurement, or SMM7.
3. Costing traditional and design-build contracts.
4. Preparing material and sub-contractor enquiry documents.
5. Conducting site visits and incorporating findings into tender pricing.
6. Assessing rates and prices, creating new or inserting from quotes.
7. Preparing competitive commercial submissions for review and approval.
8. Understanding NEC3 and JCT Contract conditions, HSQE legislation, and construction techniques.
9. Attending pre and post tender meetings.
10. Having knowledge of building materials and plant requirements.

You will have:

1. At least 3 years of estimating experience.
2. Experience in commercial/industrial projects.
3. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent analytical, organizational, and numerical skills.
5. Confidence and resourcefulness.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
