We are seeking a Building Estimator to join our team based in Lympne, Kent.

The role includes:

• Analyzing tender documentation and understanding client requirements.
• Producing accurate BOQs for pricing, reflecting client needs, based on CESSM 3, Highways Measurement, or SMM7 standards.
• Costing traditional and design-build contracts.
• Preparing material and subcontractor enquiry documents.
• Conducting site visits and incorporating findings into tender pricing.
• Assessing rates and prices, and incorporating subcontractor and material quotes.
• Preparing competitive commercial submissions for review and approval.
• Knowledge of NEC3 and JCT contracts, HSQE legislation, and construction methods.
• Participating in pre- and post-tender meetings.
• Understanding building materials and plant requirements.

You should have:

• At least 3 years of estimating experience.
• Experience with commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and reasoning skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Numerical proficiency.
