We are seeking a Building Estimator to join our team based out of Lympne, Kent.

The role:

• Analyze tender documentation and understand client requirements.
• Produce accurate BOQ for pricing, reflecting client needs, based on knowledge of CESSM 3, Highways Method of Measurement, or SMM7.
• Understand costing for traditional and design-build contracts.
• Prepare material and sub-contractor enquiry documents.
• Conduct site visits, gather information, and incorporate findings into tender pricing.
• Assess rates and prices, and incorporate quotes from subcontractors and materials.
• Prepare competitive and accurate commercial submissions for review and approval.
• Have working knowledge of NEC3 and JCT Contracts, current HSQE legislation, and construction techniques.
• Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings.
• Understand building material components and equipment requirements.

You will have:

• At least 3 years of experience as an estimator.
• Experience with commercial/industrial projects.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
