Qualifications

• BSc Quantity Surveying or HND/HNC in Construction preferred.
• Experience in estimating or pre-construction role within construction.
• UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and tenders for a mix of competitive tenders and framework opportunities.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Perform take-offs and develop detailed cost estimates.
• Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build up rates for labour, materials, plant and subcontractor packages.
• Prepare preliminaries, overheads and profit allowances.
• Support tender queries and attend tender meetings as required.
