Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Estimator for civil engineering and water infrastructure projects in the UK. The role is hybrid/flexible, delivering accurate cost estimates and robust tender pricing for major infrastructure frameworks.

You will work with bid, planning and procurement teams to identify risks and ensure competitive tenders. You will review documents, develop pricing, and present estimates at adjudications, supporting client negotiations and seamless handovers to delivery teams

Qualifications

Experience estimating civil engineering projects.
Experience building tender build-ups and pricing.
Knowledge of pipelines, MEICA, tunnelling, shafts, rail civils or groundworks.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects in the water sector.
Review tender documents, drawings and Bills of Quantities to develop robust pricing.
Collaborate with bid, planning and procurement teams to identify risks and opportunities.
Present estimates at tender adjudications and support client negotiations.
Provide detailed handovers to delivery teams after contract award.
