Job summary

Run Resourcing Ltd is recruiting an Estimator to join a leading regional contractor in the South, renowned for its tier one delivery and professional approach. The role sits in a growing preconstruction team, offering development opportunities and a clear path to senior responsibility.

You will manage tenders end-to-end, liaising with commercial and operational teams. Projects cover marine piling, highways, reinforced concrete structures, and urban refurbishments, with a strong emphasis on cost

Qualifications

• Experience in a civil engineering environment via an engineering or quantity surveying route.
• Experience handling the full tender process and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenders from start to finish, reviewing drawings, specs and contract documents to meet client requirements.
• Measure scope and build Bills of Quantities for earthworks, piling, reinforced concrete, drainage and surfacing.
• Price from first principles: plant, labour, materials and temporary works; issue supplier and subcontractor enquiries.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning and H&S teams to secure method statements, programmes and quality submissions on time.
• Assemble bids and coordinate with estimating on any required adjustments.
• Support the estimating team during submission and follow-up meetings.
