Kingdom People is seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor. You will prepare competitive tenders for major projects, with clear opportunities to progress into a Senior Estimator role on a varied regional portfolio.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers and engineers, robust cost data handling, and continual improvement of estimating tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience in Building & Civil engineering or groundworks.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and pricing.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for JCT & NEC civil engineering and groundworks packages on major projects.
• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and build cost databases.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates reflect practical delivery methods.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
• Maintain and update estimating tools and systems.
