Job summary

Kingdom People is seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor in Coventry. You will prepare competitive tenders for major projects, liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate costings and robust databases.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating for Building & Civil engineering or groundworks.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and pricing.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for JCT & NEC civil packages on major projects.
• Analyse tender documents, drawings and specs to understand project scope.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and build cost databases.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to reflect practical delivery methods.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
• Maintain and update estimating tools and systems.
