Job summary

Fisher Civils in Hampshire is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Estimator to join our expanding team. You will prepare competitive cost estimates, tenders and cost plans for a range of civil engineering projects across groundworks and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate demonstrates proven estimating experience, strong knowledge of drawings and bills of quantities, and a methodical, detail-oriented approach to pricing and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an estimator.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering and groundworks costs.
• Excellent understanding of drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
• Confident negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Proficient in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
