Job summary

Anderselite is seeking an Estimator for Manchester with Civils/Water project focus. The role involves leading estimates on water projects within the AMP 8 framework and mentoring junior estimators. You will ensure estimates align with company procedures and maintain comprehensive tender files.

You will identify opportunities and risks during tenders, provide pricing input for business development, and present estimates at adjudication, preparing a complete estimating adjudication pack.

Qualifications

• Estimating and/or operational experience in water/civils projects.
• Proficient in building tender estimates from first principles.
• Experience mentoring junior estimators and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Estimates on Water projects on the AMP 8 Framework.
• Undertake estimates in accordance with Company procedures.
• Lead team of estimators for larger tenders, mentoring and developing junior estimators.

Estimator - Manchester - Civils/Water Projects - Up to £80,000 salary

My client are a Tier one civil engineering and infrastructure specialists in the UK, with over 40 years of experience in providing design, civil engineering and maintenance services working across multiple sectors, including:

• Water
• Transport
• Built environment
• Energy

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Estimates on Water projects on the AMP 8 Framework
• Undertake estimates in accordance with Company procedures.
• Lead team of estimators for larger tenders, mentoring and developing junior estimators
• Identify opportunities and risks during the tender process.
• Maintain tender estimate file.
• Provide indicative pricing support for business development.
• Present estimates at adjudication
• Prepare an estimating _adjudication pack."
