Job summary

Vincera Consulting Ltd is seeking an Estimator to join a well-established Midlands contractor specializing in groundworks and civil projects. You will produce accurate, commercially competitive tenders for a diverse portfolio and work with operational and commercial teams from early stages to bid submission.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work in a team and meet tight deadlines.
• Send enquiries to sub-contractors for pricing.
• Assess drawings and details to price accurately.
• Engage with clients' commercial and technical teams.
• Collaborate with all company departments—Commercial, Construction & Engineering.
• Perform take-offs using Bluebeam.
• Input data into Excel and manage BOQ pricing.
• Produce material schedules from BOQs.

As part of an experienced and collaborative pre-construction team, you\'ll play a pivotal role in securing new projects by producing accurate, commercially competitive tenders across a diverse portfolio of residential groundworks and infrastructure schemes. You\'ll work closely with operational and commercial teams, influencing projects from the earliest stages and contributing directly to the company\'s continued success.

Estimator

Responsibilities;

• Work in a team
• Work to tight deadlines
• Sending out enquiries to sub-contractors for pricing

• Engaging with all company departments but specifically Commercial, Construction & Engineering teams
• Drawing take offs (using Bluebeam)
• Inputting data on excel
• Pricing BOQs in excel for submitting
• Producing material schedules from BOQ\'s

Min Requirements;

• Competent in the use of Excel
• Min 3 years\' experience in groundworks estimating
• Driving licence (own reliable transport to work)
• Good communication skills
