Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is working with a leading specialist civil engineering contractor to appoint an Estimator or Junior Estimator to join the pre-construction team in the Nottingham area.

You will prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions, review drawings and tender docs, obtain supplier and subcontractor Quotations, and assist with pricing strategies and value engineering. A supportive team will help your development and progression.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within construction or civil engineering.
• Junior candidates with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with estimating software experience beneficial.
• Piling or ground engineering experience would be highly desirable but is not essential.

Responsibilities

I'm working with a well-established specialist civil engineering contractor that delivers projects across infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint either an Estimator or Junior Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team.
