Job summary

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an Estimator to join a well-established manufacturer of aluminium roofline products based in Leicester. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and long-term career prospects.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, producing material take-offs and quotations, and calculating labour, material and production costs for diverse bespoke projects. Collaboration with Sales, Production and Engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Estimating experience within engineering, fabrication, metal manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
• Experience preparing quotations and cost estimates.
• Strong understanding of production, labour and material costing.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Produce accurate material take-offs and quotations.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates across a varied product range.
• Manage the estimating process from initial sales enquiry through to quotation.
• Calculate labour, material and production costs.
• Liaise with Sales, Production and other internal departments to ensure accurate pricing and delivery times.
• Analyse estimating performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes.
• Provide technical support and product guidance to customers when required.
• Support the wider team with administration duties where necessary.

Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in engineering, fabrication or metal manufacturing?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an Estimator to join a well-established manufacturer of high-quality aluminium roofline products based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business, working on a diverse range of bespoke aluminium fabrication projects whilst collaborating closely with Sales, Production and Engineering teams.
