With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued investment in their pre-construction capabilities, this is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking and highly successful main contractor.
Whether you're currently working as a Junior Estimator looking to take the next step or an established Estimator seeking greater responsibility, this opportunity offers the chance to work on high-profile projects alongside an experienced and supportive team.
As Estimator, you'll play an integral role in the successful preparation and submission of competitive tenders across a varied portfolio of construction projects.
Working closely with senior estimating professionals, commercial teams and the wider pre-construction department, you'll be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, managing supply chain enquiries and identifying opportunities to deliver commercially competitive, profitable bids.
You’ll take ownership of allocated tenders, coordinating subcontractor quotations, analysing project costs and ensuring submissions are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
A key part of the role will involve identifying potential risks, exploring value engineering opportunities and working collaboratively with design and operational teams to develop practical, commercially effective solutions.
You’ll also support the successful handover of secured projects to delivery teams, ensuring commercial assumptions, pricing information and project risks are clearly communicated.
This is an opportunity to develop your estimating expertise while gaining exposure to the complete pre-construction process within an established main contracting business.
You'll have a background in construction estimating, quantity surveying or a related commercial discipline and be looking to further develop your career within a recognised main contractor.
Ideally, you'll bring:

If you're an ambitious Estimator looking to take the next step in your career, this could be an excellent opportunity to join one of the region's most respected construction businesses.
