Job summary

Linkit Resource Partnership Limited in Leicester is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our bespoke joinery team, taking projects from tender through to handover.

You will read drawings, prepare detailed costings and tender proposals, manage the tender process and keep opportunities moving, while building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure commercial success on projects up to £750k.

Qualifications

• Experience in joinery estimating, project management or closely related role within joinery industry.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

Estimator - Bespoke Projects

You know your joinery. You understand drawings. And you know how to turn an opportunity into a profitable project.

If that sounds like you, this could be a very good move.

We're working with an established bespoke joinery business delivering high-value projects for a diverse client base, and they're looking for an experienced Estimator to join the team.

This isn't a role where you simply price a set of drawings and send out a quote.

You'll be involved from tender through to handover, helping win work, build client relationships and make sure projects start on the right commercial footing.

What you’ll be doing

• Estimating costs and preparing accurate quotations across bespoke joinery projects

What we’re looking for

You'll ideally have experience in joinery estimating, project management or a closely related role within the joinery industry.

More importantly, you'll be commercially aware, detail-focused and confident dealing with people.

You need to be someone who can look at a drawing and understand what needs to be built, what it is likely to cost and what questions need asking before a price goes out.

You'll also need the confidence to pick up the phone, chase an opportunity and build relationships rather than simply waiting for clients to come back to you.
