Job summary

Constructive Moves Ltd. in London is seeking an experienced Estimator to secure projects in the facades and cladding sector.

You will support the Directors and pre-construction teams to price residential exterior projects, review tender documents, develop tender designs, and coordinate with external suppliers. Ideal candidate holds at least an HND or equivalent, with exposure to curtain walling, cladding and roofing; experience in new build and remediation; strong communication and teamwork; car

Exterior Facades sub-contracts

A highly successful leading principle contractor known for their expertise in specialist sub-contract facade and cladding packages is seeking an experienced Estimator to oversee securing their projects in the facades and re cladding team. The company is well recognised for their ability to design, procure, and install a variety of exterior systems for some of the most prestigious multi-million pound projects in London coupled with a wide range of facades and externals projects.

As an Estimator you will be supporting and reporting to the Directors and pre-construction teams to ensure successful pricing of various residential exterior projects. Therefore, your day to day responsibilities will vary from but are not limited to:

• Reviewing the Tender documentation.
• Developing the Tender design by proposing building details and construction methods.
• Estimating the cost of the internal production activities.
• Searching potential external suppliers.
• Managing price requests to external suppliers.
• Compiling the Tender submissions.
• Monitoring Tenders after submission and respond to any further requests by the client.
• Managing all communications with the client during the Tender process.

The ideal Estimator will have graduated with at least an HND or equivalent qualification and some practical experience ideally exposure to a suitable specialist sub-contractor with curtain walling, cladding and roofing. Both new build and remediation. You will have a focused attitude, and excellent communication skills and must be able to work as part of a team and possess a high level of motivation.

The salary will be dependent and a product of experience. In return, the package will include a car allowance and additional benefits which will be negotiable.
