Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Sales Estimating Engineer for a specialist engineering and manufacturing business in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will evaluate and prepare sales tenders, work with customers and internal engineering teams to secure orders, and support the sales process from enquiry through to order and handover.

The role requires an engineering or technical background with estimating or tendering experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical background with estimating or tendering experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate sales tenders with the sales team.
• Liaise with potential new customers at enquiry stage.
• Ensure estimates and tenders comply with engineering standards.
• Support customers through the order process.
• Prepare contract folders for engineering handover.
• Attend internal and customer meetings or site visits.
• Assist with CAD drawings using AutoCAD when needed.
