Job summary

Ambitek Limited is seeking a detail-focused Estimating Engineer to join our established manufacturing business, preparing accurate, competitive quotations to deliver reliable and sustainable solutions.

You will work closely with Engineering, Production and Purchasing to produce costings and identify value engineering opportunities, reviewing drawings and CAD models to interpret client requirements while liaising with clients and suppliers throughout the tender process.

Qualifications

• Detail-focused with ability to cost quotes accurately.
• Ability to interpret drawings and CAD models.
• Experience compiling quotations and BOM familiarity.
• Willingness to travel or visit sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce accurate, competitive technical and commercial quotations from enquiry to quotation.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and CAD models to interpret client requirements.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders throughout the tender process.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements when needed.
• Build and develop strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Support operations in delivering client expectations.
• Collaborate to determine cost-effective manufacturing solutions and value engineering opportunities.
