RNLI is seeking an Estates Surveyor to manage RNLI's land and property portfolio in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role focuses on lease negotiations, rent reviews, and cost control across assets vital to lifesaving operations.

Candidates should hold a Property/Estate Management degree and be MRICS registered. Strong problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and IT skills (Concerto) are essential for delivering value and compliant estate management.

Competenze

• Degree in Property or Estate Management (or equivalent).
• MRICS qualification and registration as a valuer.
• Charities Act valuation experience (section 119).
• Experience formulating annual business plans with monitoring/reporting.
• Experience in estate management, property management, or surveying.
• Knowledge of lettings, legislation, and administration.
• Confidence working with occupants, staff, advisers and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial judgement.
• Proficient in IT and property management systems (Concerto).

Mansioni

• Day to day estate management of RNLI's property portfolio.
• Manage landlord/tenant matters including leases and rent reviews.
• Oversee property overheads: rent, insurance, service charges, rates and dilapidations.
• Coordinate external consultants (surveyors, valuers, agents) for value-for-money services.
• Lead portfolio rationalisation, including disposals where appropriate.
• Budget rent accounts and oversee related RNLI income and third-party occupancies.
• Support strategic property projects such as lifeboat stations and facilities.
• Assist acquisitions/disposals with RNLI Property Counsel.
