Job summary

Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a Nottinghamshire Council for an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to join the Commercial Development team. The role is part-time (3 days per week) with hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities include managing lease renewals, rent reviews, valuations, and property interests across industrial, office, retail, and investment properties. MRICS is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estates Surveyor.
• Strong commercial landlord & tenant knowledge.
• Experience with lease renewals and rent reviews.
• MRICS qualification is advantageous but not essential.

• Manage commercial property interests including industrial units, offices, retail units and investment properties.
• Undertake property valuations and rental assessments.
• Support acquisitions, disposals and small land sales.
• Progress property transactions through to completion.
• Manage open space adoptions, easements and wayleaves.
• Liaise with legal teams, external surveyors and stakeholders.
• Prepare committee reports and provide professional property advice.

Estates Surveyor Nottinghamshire based local authority 3 Days Per Week | Hybrid Working £400 per day Umbrella / £300 per day PAYE Initial 6 Month Contract

Requirements
