Job summary

PRS is seeking an experienced Estates Senior Project Manager to lead complex building services and engineering initiatives in a highly regulated pharmaceutical and R&D setting. You will oversee projects from concept to handover, ensure GMP/GLP compliance, manage budgets, and drive sustainability and capital investment across a major EMEA operation.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong project management background, PMI or APM accredited.
• Experience delivering engineering projects within pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare or other regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including Electrical installations, BMS, Steam and gas boilers, AHUs and chillers, Compressed air systems, Water treatment systems.
• Excellent understanding of engineering safety and compliance.
• Strong commercial, stakeholder and contractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and estates projects from business case through to completion.
• Manage building services and utility-related capital projects.
• Deliver lifecycle asset replacement, fit-outs, sustainability and energy improvement programmes.
• Ensure GMP/GLP compliance, commercial governance and regulatory adherence.
• Manage contractors, consultants and specialist engineering partners.
• Act as client representative under CDM regulations and oversee contractual agreements including JCT contracts.
• Support EMEA capital planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Drive Net Zero and sustainability initiatives across the estate.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, external partners and local authorities.
• Provide project reporting, risk management and change control oversight.
