Job summary

Lord Wandsworth College is seeking an Estates Maintenance Manager to lead the in-house maintenance team responsible for a 1,200-acre campus, teaching and boarding facilities, and 75 properties. You’ll oversee planned and reactive maintenance, manage contractors, and drive improvements in maintenance planning and plant servicing.

The role offers £45,000-£50,000 with benefits including meals, generous leave, a pension and potential on-site accommodation. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance or estates teams in a large or complex environment.
• Practical understanding of hard FM, plant, servicing and health & safety.
• Strong communication and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead an in-house maintenance team looking after the College’s estate and 75 residential properties.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and manage contractors.
• Drive proactive maintenance with stronger forward planning and systems.
• Support refurbishment projects and team development.
