Job summary

NHS Central East ICB is seeking an Estates Manager to support place-based estates planning and operational delivery across the ICB footprint. You will provide expert estates advice to primary care providers and help develop delivery plans underpinning the ICBs Strategic Estates plan.

You will lead in multi-disciplinary teams, manage projects, and build strong relationships with GP practices, PCNs and local authorities. Flexible working options are available, including home or remote working.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in estates/property or related field.
• Proven ability to manage projects or workstreams with competing priorities, risks and deadlines.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders across NHS/public sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Estates support to NHS Primary care estates across the ICB footprint.
• Develop understanding of local estate conditions, utilisation, services pressures and investment opportunities.
• Support the Place-based estates plan aligned to local health needs and ICB Estates Strategy.
• Act as first point of contact for primary care practices on estates matters including lease issues and funding queries.
• Advise on NHS Estates policies, reimbursement mechanisms, and premises standards.
• Support capital funding applications and estates-related business cases.
• Participate in place-based governance and collaborative forums to align with ICBS estates strategy.
• Collaborate on planning contributions (Section 106/CIL) and estates planning governance.
• Provide flexible operational and project support to the wider estates team.
